At Jabana, we are on a mission to help Sudanese, Ethiopian, Kenyan and Tanzanian farmers towards a higher quality of life. We plan to help the farmers by sourcing only organic coffee from the region and paying above fair trade price to provide a livable income for them and their families. Additionally, we believe in an holistic approach for climate change prevention and plan to conduct our business in ways that are more ecologically minded, and sustainably viable for the earth and the people on it.

Strong childhood memories of summers spent in Sudan, with family and friends drinking jabana and shai (tea) by the Nile, sharing stories and laughs has manifested itself as the foundation for the brand. Coffee in Sudan is used to bring people together, energize the mind and body and spark great conversations.
